Eye am Kyme, a journey with cancer.

Hi, I'm Kyme, and I'm glad you are here. I wanted to create this space to share my journey with ocular melanoma, a rare eye cancer that I was diagnosed with in  October 2022. When I first received my diagnosis, I felt overwhelmed and alone. I was fortunate enough to have a friend from my hometown that had the same diagnosis in 2019. She was able to give me so much advice and encouragement. A fter starting treatment, I found how important a support system and place to express your thoughts and feelings is for your overall wellness. That's why I decided to start this blog- to keep my loved ones updated, connect with others going through similar experiences, and, hopefully, provide some insight and encouragement to those who need it.  Through this blog, I'll be sharing regular updates on my treatment, thoughts and reflections on living with cancer, and anything else that feels important to me along the way.
